MICROSOFT FOR GOVERNMENT
INDUSTRY TEMPLATES
The Government template system was designed to support high-volume, repeatable content creation while maintaining a polished, cohesive visual standard. A restrained blue-led palette anchors the system, with gradients and tonal variation adding depth without distracting from content. Stock imagery is used sparingly and purposefully, acting as a secondary layer to support key moments while the system itself carries the primary visual weight. The templates are intentionally designed to be easy to use for non-designers, supported by a structured layout system and an integrated icon library that enables consistent, scalable content creation across presentations.
ADAPTING A VISUAL IDENTITY
Layouts make deliberate use of space, pairing margins that breathe with semi-transparent content containers to create a layered, glass-like UI that favors readability over complex backgrounds. Custom background imagery was developed using Adobe Firefly and refined in Photoshop to extend Microsoft’s visual language, blending abstract forms with subtle motion-inspired textures that provide visual interest without competing with foreground information.
